This painting was created as I studied more of what elephant features look like close-up. I noticed all of the wrinkles, lines, spots and color changes unique to each elephant and it made me reflect on how we each carry our own stories. Parts of our stories may be more visible on the outside, while other parts of our stories are held on the inside; each holding value and beauty.
