As I painted this scene, I was reminded of something written out and posted in a couple places in my house. "The sun rose again. New Mercy is here." This was something I read to myself each morning when it was difficult to find the good in the midst of a long and difficult season. The reminder of God's faithfulness and mercy each day is good news; in every season.
