I began painting this by just painting a fire. I wasn't sure why I wanted to paint a fire, but I did. As I finished it, I looked at this huge fire and the white space around it and prayed that God would show me what else goes in this painting. I could then very clearly see a lion on the right, a sheep on the left, and an olive branch woven into the painting as well. While God is still revealing to me all the meaning in this painting, what I continue to see is provision, protection, and promise.
He is Jehovah Nissi (The Lord My Banner), Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Will Provide), Jehovah Raah (The Lord My Shepard), Jehovah Mekoddishkem (The Lord Who Sanctifies You), Jehovah Rapha (The Lord that Heals), Jehovah Shalom (The Lord is Peace).
